Inked Floral Frame Shaker

Good afternoon! I'm stopping by to share another card created with the February Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Window Frames! This kit is SOOO wintry and fun - the included large stamp set by the same name is so unique, the Tri Square die is super fun, the pattern paper is GORGEOUS, the sweet litttle Sweetheart shaker elements are darling - not to mention the Cardstock, Envelopes, and more!

The past couple months I decided to try filming a video for my cards using the monthly card kits - I have had such a great response so far that I will continue as time allows. In creating this card, I wanted to show another way to create a shaker using the stamp and die set included in the kit - and while the card kit definitely has a distinct Valentine flavor to it, there is lots of versatility built into it as well, which I love!

For this card, I heat embossed the image from Window Frames, did some ink blending over the top, then die cut the Tri Square Die from the center, but trimmed it down to create one large rectangle shaker element.

Filled the shaker with some Sparkling Clear Confetti, added a heat embossed sentiment with a bit of silver thread, and some torn paper layers over a solid color cardbase!
