Good morning! Yesterday was our weekly Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Live! If you missed the Live video and want to take a peek, you can find it on the Pinkfresh Facebook Page - yesterday's video is available HERE. As always, there was one giveaway for someone who watched live, so make sure and pop in each week to win that live giveaway - 10 AM Pacific time on Thursday morning!
I also always try to post info here the next day on the card we make - for those that aren't on Facebook or maybe didn't see it over there. This week we created this lovely watercolor floral card combining one of the most recent Essential's Releases, and an older floral set - paired up with a sentiment from another stamp set.
We started off by watercoloring the background for this card with a combination of Emerald City, Key Lime, Aquamarine, Sky Blue, and Sapphire, then added some gold splatters over the top of that once it dried slightly. The beautiful new Essentials: Fancy Diagonal Stripes die was then adhered over the top of that.
Next, we stamped and heat embossed the lovely floral image from Fancy Blooms stamp set in gold, and colored it in with the same colors of watercolors. We added a wrap of vellem around the background, then adhered the florals over the top of that.
Finally, I heat embossed a sentiment from Abstract Builder in gold on black cardstock, and adhered it with foam adhesive over the florals. Finished off with a few sparkly jewels from the Essentials: Jewels Mix for a final touch of sparkle!
