Good morning! Today is an amazing blog hop to celebrate Pinkfresh Studio's September 2020 Holiday Stamp and Die Release! You aren't going to want to miss a stop along the way - TONS of inspiration and prizes up for grabs! YAY! (Please note: I won't be doing the usual release day live today on Facebook - we took this week off of Live's due to some other online retailer events we had to do this week.)
You can also receive free shipping on any order of $50 or more through September 24th - so a great time to pick up anything you have your eye on!
As usual, I have several cards below to share with you - so be ready for lots of photos!
First up - I couldn't resist a magical rainbow forest created with the darling new tree in the Tree Trimming Friends stamp set - the layers make it SOOO easy and fun to create trees in any color your heart desires!
I stamped them in an array of Pinkfresh inks, and stamped them off the bottom edge of my panel of white cardstock.
And with rainbow trees - a magical purple sky seems reasonable as well, right? I added some deeper purple splatters with a darker shade of ink, and then added a heavy dose of white splatters over the entire front for a snowy look.
Added the stars on top of the trees, a sentiment, the stamped stars, and the cute little birdie from Sleigh Bells Ring stamp set - another cute critter set. Finally, finished off with lots of sparkly white jewels scattered around the trees and the stars on top of the trees.
Next up - switching gears from the cute, and onto the absolutely gorgeous and elegant stamps and dies included in this release!
The stunning Merry and Bright Frame stamp set is SOOO fun to use!
I picked a fun color combo in some non-traditional holiday colors, and had fun building my frame. I used the layering cluster of florals - both stamped and layered together, and then stamped just in the outline to tuck around and under the frame.
The frame and sentiment are both heat embossed in white on colored cardstock, and there is lots of foam adhesive tucked in there for the different layers. I also die cut the beautiful Ornate Poinsettia die to create a subtle tone on tone background for the base of this card, and finished off with more sparkly jewels for shine!
And finally - back to some bright happy rainbow colors!
For this card, I used the gorgeous Gift Boxes background stamp set and coordinating Gift Boxes dies to create an array of rainbow gift boxes. To do this, I first die cut the coordinating die, then carefully lined everything up in my MISTI so that I could place each gift box back in it's negative space and stamp it in my color of choice.
I actually used two colors of ink on each gift box, stamping it in the lighter color, then adding ink in a darker shade partially across the image. This gives some fun depth and variation to the colors!
I added a sentiment from that darling Tree Trimming Friends stamp set - heat embossed in white on a bit of black cardstock - and then finished off again with lots more sparkly jewels tucked around to embellish the gifts!
