Good morning! Today is an amazing blog hop to celebrate Pinkfresh Studio's April 2021 Stamp, Stencil, Die, and Hot Foil Release! You aren't going to want to miss a stop along the way - TONS of inspiration and prizes up for grabs! YAY!
We ended up with a tighter time frame to work with the new release, so I have fewer cards to share today than I normally do for a release. But don't worry - I promise I will be using these new products lots in the weeks to come!
For this first card, I used the new slimline Heartfelt Thanks stamp set with coordinating stencils - so pretty!
This time, I started off by stamping the florals and gold heat embossing on white cardstock, then I stenciled the color on using a combination of Coral Reef, Peach Fuzz, Apricot, and Passion Fruit for the florals, and Mint and Meadow for the leaves.
I die cut the panel with Essentials: Slim Stitched Rectangles dies, and mounted with foam on a coordinating soft peach colored card base.
I added the gorgeous new sentiment die - Lots of Love, die cut from gold cardstock, and layered over the shadow die cut from white, and added the stamped sentiment from the stamp set underneath - stamped in Detail Black in on a strip of white cardstock.
Finished off with a few coordinating Essentials: Crystals for the final sparkle!
Next up, I'm switching gears from the peach and coral tones, to soft creamy yellows!
For this card I used the coordinating It's a New Day Florals stencils in Lemon Whip, Sweet Mustard, Ocean Breeze, and Aquamarine, then heat embossed the It's a New Day Florals stamp set (which is all in one piece!) in white over the top of it. Such a soft and dreamy effect!
Next, I die cut all those lovely florals, with the Coordinating dies - that are also all in one piece to make it easy to die cut everything at once! I also die cut and trimmed down a few of the new Leafy Branch dies and tucked those around the florals when I arranged them on my Cream colored cardbase.
And another clever thing - I used a sentiment from the new Celebrating You Hot Foil plates. These hot foil plates are all once piece that foil several sentiments all at the same time - and have a coordinating die to cut them all out at the same time! There is also a matching stamp set if you aren't ready to jump into hot foiling - so you can get a similar look with heat embossing. But hot foiling has my heart...so I'm a bit addicted! :)
A few coordinating sparkly Essentials: Jewels finish this card off!
And finally - a set that I think will be a favorite from this release - the Butterflies stamp, stencil, and die combo!
For this card, I started off with the stencils, and used Grassy Knoll, Aquamarine, Seaside, and Tidal Pond to stencil the layers. I then stamped with the coordinating stamp set, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I still have the other butterfly set aside to use on another card later. I also used this set on
YouTube live earlier this week (you can see this stamp set in action
HERE if you are interested) and will be sharing those finished cards tomorrow. :)
I die cut the background with Stitches die, and mounted it with foam adhesive on the dark teal cardbase.
I added the butterfly, using foam adhesive only toward the center of the butterfly, leaving the edges a little more free to pop up for dimension.
Sentiment from the stamp set is heat embossed in white on a bit of black cardstock, and mounted with a touch of foam over the corner of the butterfly. A few coordinating sparkly Essentials: Jewels mix finish this card off as well! Gotta have that sparkle! :)
