Beautiful Inside and Out - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live Cards

Good morning! Dropping by today to share a card I made yesterday for Pinkfresh Studio's YouTube Live! I used one of the newly released layering stencils, that actually coordinates with a gorgeous previously released stamp. As always, you can use them alone or together - but I wanted to use them together, and ended up heat embossing in gold to add some beautiful sparkly details! You can watch the replay HERE if you want to see more details.

I had lots of fun mixing and matching colors in the stencils - inspired by Jaycee Gaspar on the Craft Hour a few weeks ago - you can check that video out HERE if you want to see what I mean.

We started off using the Flower Garden Layering Stencils. For the first layer of florals, I used a mixture of Lemon Whip and Peach Fuzz for the first layer, then Sweet Mustard and Apricot for the second layer. The other set of flowers used a combination of Ballet Slipper and Peach Fuzz for the base layer, then added Coral Reef and Apricot for the next layer. The leaves used Mint and Ocean Breeze for their bottom layer, then added Aquamarine and Meadow over the top!

Once the stenciling was done, I heat embossed the coordinating stamp image over the top in gold - lining it up in my MISTI to get it matched up perfectly. Then it was just a matter of die cutting that panel with Essentials: Stitched Rectangles to adhere to my coordinating card base with foam adhesive.

Sentiment was die cut with Phrase Builder: Hello from gold foil cardstock for the detail layer, then from vellum for the shadow layer. I also die cut the detail layer a couple more times from white cardstock to add BEHIND the vellum, sort of as a stand in for adding thin strips of foam adhesive for dimension. The add on sentiment is from the Flower Garden stamp set as well, stamped in detail black and trimmed into a banner. Final finishing touch - of course! - are a few sparkly Essentials: Jewels.
