Pinkfresh Studio January 2023 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

Despite not getting my release until getting back from vacation, and only having a couple days to work on them, I still managed to create a few cards to share today! I would have loved to do more with this amazing release - but those will probably still happen later!

First up, I have this slimline card featuring lots of the new release! I almost don't know where to start, since all the elements are fairly prominent, and all work together so well. But, let's start with the Inky Bouquet set...

That beautiful floral arrangement was created with the stamps, dies, and coordinating layering stencils. I did a super soft color palette for the florals, trying to give the illusion of white or cream flowers. I used Misty Coast and Rocky Slope for some of the flowers, and Lemon Whip and Sunshine for the others - but applied VERY soft and light. Just a hint of color really!

I used Blue Jay for both layers of the vase, just blending it deeper for the second layer. Then Olive and Evergreen for the leaves - a favorite color combo on those. I die cut with the coordinating die, and also die cut some of the greenery from Garden Wreath from white cardstock to tuck around for extra dimension and fullness on the bouquet.

The sentiment is from the new Wonderful Sentiments hot foil set. While we have lots of one piece options at Pinkfresh, this set is designed to be individual pieces, just to give another option. The great thing is that you can foil just the sentiments you need, or foil them directly onto your card panels or bases if you wish. I foiled this in Silver foil, then die cut with the coordinating dies.

For the backdrop, I die cut the largest Slim Ornate Banner two times - once from white cardstock, and once from Cream cardstock. I used the center die from the new Spiral Circle die set to cut some detailed windows into the white piece, so it adds some interest and detail, and allows that cream cardstock to peek through.

Finished off with some Peach Fuzz jewels in the centers of some of the flowers, and a few Sapphire jewels around to embellish.

The next two cards both feature the new Today is Special set.

For this first version, I heat embossed the image from the stamp set, and then added color with the coordinating layering stencils. 

I used some of my favorite colors on this one too! Coral Reef, Peach Fuzz, Passion Fruit, Berrylicious, Mint, Ocean Breeze, and Aquamarine. 

I used the Nested Hexagons and one of the Satin Foils to create a hot foiled and die cut frame to anchor the card, mounting it with foam on a soft peach cardbase to coordinate.

I layered the florals in place, trimming off the excess that went off the edges of the card. I was careful with my arrangement, so there was only a tiny bit to trim off actually.

And I didn't even waste the pieces that I cut off that had anything left - I tucked those under the top part of the frame! Love when I can use those extra pieces and truly have no waste!

I die cut the sentiment a couple extra times from white cardstock to layer behind the heat embossed version - these sentiments are so dainty, it was the perfect way to get dimension without trying to get tiny slivers of foam adhesive. A few Gold Glitter Drops finish this card off!

The next card uses the EXACT same colors of ink, but without the coordinating stamp set. And I paired it with cool silvers for this card, which gives it an entirely different look!

I love that while the Floral Lace die is fabulous for die cutting, and it also has a coordinating Hot Foil plate, you can also hot foil the die for a more dainty background effect. So fun! I did that in silver to create this background.

I trimmed the panel down with one of the Nested Rectangles dies - this gave me a nice finished edge, and allowed me to perfectly center where I wanted the background design. You could also trim the panel down, I just found this easier for me!

For the sentiment, I actually used the reverse foiled image using the leftover foil and the Solid Hot Foil plate from that first card, and using Wonderful Sentiments. It just popped better on this card with all the white space than a normal foiled version. It is in silver foil like the background, so it coordinates nicely. 

I added a few Metallic Silver Pearls to embellish and finish this card off!

And finally - I had to create a card using the stencils and dies for Floral Lace as intended!

I used super soft colors for the daisies - Coral Reef, Peach Fuzz, and Lemon Whip. Then I layered the die cut version in white over the top.

Sentiment is another one from the Wonderful Sentiments, hot foiled again in silver (seemed to be what I was using this time around mostly!). I popped that up with foam off the background.

Then, as I was deciding where to place my Silver Pearls, I realized it made a pretty pattern if I put one in the center of each of the flowers! 

So...I went a bit crazy and layered them on, except on the ones behind the sentiment, obviously!

Sigh...I just love a good foiled sentiment. Or a good foiled anything really!

Mounted that entire panel on a coordinating pink cardbase to help those daisies just pop a bit extra!
