Good morning! I seem to always struggle to keep masculine birthday cards on hand, and having lots of guys in my family, that means it's a constant job to keep up the supply. So, when I come up with a design I like, I often make several, so that I have a few ready to go. These cards came together so nicely and easily using some supplies from Simon Says Stamp - the simple variety of greens, and stamping the trees in random combinations, then a crisp black sentiment just made them perfect for what I wanted!
I used one of my favorite stamp sets - Forest Scenery - and some of the most recent colors of Pawsitively Saturated inks from Simon Says Stamp - Cabbage, Artichoke, and Kale. I chose 3 different trees, and kept one with each of the ink colors. Then I just varied where I stamped the different colored trees for each card. Super quick, fun, and easy. I almost wanted to keep going and stamping! Once that was done, I chose a few sentiments from a couple different stamp sets. I used Let's Celebrate and Happiest Wishes, and chose different sentiments from each of them. Since the panels were A2 sized, and I wanted to add a tiny bit of interest to the cards, I trimmed them down slightly, then mounted them directly to my white cardbases. Foam tape was tempting, but they also worked so perfectly as just nearly one layer cards, that I ended up just going the simple route. And since they were guy cards, I opted to skip any additional embellishments as well. Here are more photos of these cards, as well as a closer photo of each one:
