Good morning! Stopping in to share fun trio of cards with some tone on tone stamping and die cut sentiments using some supplies from Simon Says Stamp - I love those intricate florals stamped tone on tone on colored cardstock, and how they let those simple sentiments just shine!
For these cards, I started off with some Concord and 9th colored cardstock - the 3 colors I used are Sunflower, Avocado, and Fig. I then stamped the large floral image from Thankful Flowers stamp set with closely coordinating, but slight deeper toned Pawsitively Saturated inks - Citrine, Galaxy, and Pine. A similar look would have been fun with embossing ink and clear embossing powder - but I love the simple stamping on these! I used the same image in both corners, just different parts of the same image. I then trimmed the panels down slightly, rounded two opposite corners, and mounted directly on white cardbases. Sentiments were created with the recently released Simple Hello die, using white cardstock for the main layer, and vellum for the shadow layer. I finished off with some clear drops for sparkle!
