Good morning! Yesterday I did a YouTube live on my own personal YouTube channel, using some supplies from Simon Says Stamp - but mixing and matching different brands of supplies. It was SOOO fun to combine different supplies together on one card! The brands featured on this card include Simon Says Stamp, Pinkfresh Studio, Pretty Pink Posh, and Spellbinders. And I just adore how girlie this card turned out! I also played with a new technique or two on here as well.
Here is the live video if you want to see this technique in action, or you can watch it directly on YouTube HERE:
While the video shows it all best, here is a quick recap! I used the newer Cherry Bliss product suite from Pinkfresh Studio, heat embossed in gold, then used a bright and fresh color combo of SSS Pawsitively Saturated inks with the layering stencils. Once I had ink blended, I added some clear embossing powder over the main cherry layer, and heat embossed the entire thing with clear embossing powder - if you look further in the post, you can see a bit of the lovely shine it gave! Background was created with the SSS Swiss Dots embossing folder on some Spellbinders cardstock - then I used the technique from THIS CARD a couple days ago to add some extra shine and texture. I layered up the cardstock layers, and added a Pretty Pink Posh Eyelet Circle with the sentiment stamped in the center. Tied through some Lawn Fawn white hemp twine, and added the cherries over the top. Finished off with some GORGEOUS Gold Flecked Gems from Spellbinders that I'm in LOVE with! Here are more photos of this card:
