Gift Trio Inspired By Create Together 1 - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Yesterday was the first Create Together Live Class from Simon Says Stamp - a free class that had the option to pre-buy a kit, or just use supplies that you have on hand. I watched along live, and pulled out some of my own supplies to create along! I went my own direction, but was inspired by some of the colors and themes. It was such a fun time of crafting! I started off with a different layered stencil set than they used - Layered Flowers - and a similar color palette. I added one color family, and grabbed a couple colors in a lighter tone than the ones they used for the class - Carnation, Apple, Cheeky, and Tidepool. I blended the entire panel on a large piece of white cardstock, then trimmed off enough to cut the largest Stitched Rectangle from. I die cut a Nested Round Heart from the center of that panel to create a shaker window. That was backed with a bit of white cardstock that I blended Cheeky and Tidepool ink onto, then filled with Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Star Confetti. The sentiment was the Fancy Hello wafer die, cut from Champagne Glitter cardstock and vellum, and the tiny secondary sentiment was stamped from Hugs to You stamp set in Apple ink. Mounted that on a Cream cardbase, then added some Lawn Fawn White Hemp Twine tied around it. Moving on to the gift bag - that was die cut using the Gift Bag die from Cotton Candy cardstock. I used that stenciled heart from the card, and layered some vellum over top to soften it up a bit, then added the Rose Winged Butterfly, also die cut from Champagne Glitter cardstock (also used for the handles of the gift bag). Wrapped some May Arts Faux Silk ribbon around the bag, and added a few Dazzling Gems in clear and a tiny sentiment from Gratitude Reverse Sentiment Strips over the top! Finally, that tag was created with the final leftover strip from stenciling, layered over a bit of white cardstock, then die cut with the largest Label Tags wafer die. Added some of those same reverse sentiments over the top, and a few of the clear gems, as well as a bit of the white twine to the top to finish that one off!
