Dreamy Thinking of You - Simon Says Stamp In My Heart Release

Good morning! I've got another card to share using the In My Heart Release from Simon Says Stamp! I used some items that I had leftover from THIS card, and some similar colors - I don't think there is anything lovelier than soft dreamy peachy pink tones, do you?

I started off by embossing some new Seashell cardstock with Butterfly Escapade embossing folder. I then swiped some clear embossing ink over the top of it, and sprinkled with some clear embossing powder. This gives a tiny bit of neutral shine, and makes those butterflies just pop a bit! Next, I die cut one of the Scalloped Arches dies from white cardstock, and then used the inside space of the Scalloped Arches Frames from the other card (you can see it HERE) from Altenew glitter cardstock. I stamped the large floral from Wild Rose on vellum and heat embossed in white, then trimmed in half to overlap the center scallop frames. Added a sentiment from Friendship XL EZ Strips die cut with XL EZ Strips Banners die, and added a secondary sentiment from the Wild Rose set that the florals came from. Here is a closer look at the finished card:

Holding You in my Heart - Simon Says Stamp In My Heart Release

Good morning! Dropping by today with another card featuring the BRAND NEW Simon Says Stamp In My Heart Release! I've used one of those lovely new cardstock colors again, and paired it with several other new items from the release to create a shaker card!

I started off with one of my favorites of the new cardstock colors - Seashell. It's such a soft and pretty pastel tone! I embossed it with the new Apple Blossoms embossing folder to create some texture inside my shaker window. I created my shaker window by die cutting another favorite from the release - Scalloped Arches Frames from a panel of white cardstock. I then cut the same frame from Altenew glitter cardstock to inset to add the frame around my shaker. I filled my shaker with the new Cream Puff Embellishment mix. I heat embossed a flower from the Wild Rose stamp set in white on vellum for a lacy flower to add to the front, and tucked it behind a sentiment from Friendship XL EZ Strips sentiment strips that I cut with XL EZ Strips Banner die. I added a secondary sentiment from Wild Rose stamp set to finish this card off! Here is a closer look:

Floral Mother's Day Duo - Simon Says Stamp In My Heart Release

Hello! It's release day for the amazing BRAND NEW Simon Says Stamp In My Heart collection - and I'm stopping by with my first couple of cards using lots of items from the new release! I'm super excited about a few of these items (THE NEW CARDSTOCK COLORS!), and can't wait to share lots more with this release!

I am absolutely in love with the new cardstocks in sweet and soft pastels! I love each and every color, and know I will be using them a lot! I started off by die cutting the new Jaunty Stem and Fresh Crocus Duo and assembling them together. I used Seashell and Apricot for the Jaunty Stem, and Moonflower for the Crocus, then Starlight for the stems, as well as the cardbase. I die cut the new Teardrop Pinpoint Frames from white cardstock, and used popped them up with foam adhesive to use as a canvas for my design. I added the flowers with liquid adhesive, then tucked a bow on each one from the new Little Bows Dies (another favorite!) cut from Altenew glitter cardstock. I added sentiments from the new Thanks, Mom stamp and die set, stamping them in Nocturne black ink, then heat embossing with Clear Sparkle embossing powder. Finished off with a few Dazzling Gems in clear for extra sparkle! Here is a closer look at both of these fun cards:

Bold Beautiful Friend - Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Moments Release

Hello! Today I've got a bold and graphic card design featuring a die from the recent Beautiful Moments Release from Simon Says Stamp, paired with some fun Simon Says Stamp colored cardstocks!

I found a color combo on Pinterest that caught my interest, and when I was deciding how to use it, it struck me that it would be fun to just layer up the colored cardstock to match the inspiration piece! I don't seem to have saved it, or I would share a link to it here - sorry about that! But I used Island Blue, Lemon Chiffon, Sunshine, Orange Peel, and Lipstick cardstocks to create the background. Next, I pulled out the new Beautiful Friend die and cut the shadow layer from black for some good contrast, and the detail layer from Altenew Moonstone glitter cardstock for sparkle. I wrapped some Vivant Silver thread around and tied in a bow before adding the sentiment with foam adhesive. I added a secondary sentiment from Reverse Beautiful Friend Sentiment Strips, and finished off with a few Clear Dazzling gems for extra sparkle! Here is a closer look at the finished card:

Felt Toaster Pastry card - Simon Says Stamp Heart to Heart Release

Good morning! I've got another card to share today using the newest Heart to Heart Release from Simon Says Stamp! I tell you what - cutting dies with felt is SOOO much fun! I mean, a felt toaster pastry?!? Is there anything cuter?!? Also, did you know that putting glitter drops on felt is amazing as well?

I had recently picked up some Benzie Designs Felt in the Be Mine color pack, and really wanted to put it to use on something. I spotted the Toaster Pastry die, and thought it was perfect for it! I'm going to date myself a bit, but does anyone else remember flannel graph stories when you were a kid? Yeah, before I glued it together, I was almost tempted to leave the pieces separate to use that way - haha! I used some Altenew glitter cardstock to cut the longer squiggly lines, and tucked those behind the toaster pastry that I adhered at an angle, then trimmed all the extra overhanging pieces off. I used some Nuvo Glitter drops on the hearts and squiggle of frosting on the toaster pastry for extra sparkly fun! I added a sentiment from Make My Heart Flutter stamp set, a sprinkle of Trinity Clear Twinkle Rhinestones, rounded off one corner, and mounted the panel on a cardbase created with Seafoam cardstock! Here is a closer look at the finished project:

Wedding Thank You Cards - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! In the final wedding preparations for my daughter last week, she needed some thank you cards to hand out to the many people who came alongside to help make her day special. So, I broke out some supplies from Simon Says Stamp - and started working with her input on the design. I ended up making a total of 16 of these to help supplement some of the ones I already had on hand. I love how soft and pretty they turned out - and how well the design worked to create multiples of them!

I started off by grabbing a floral image from Wild and Free Flowers, and stamping it on white cardbases using Ballerina ink for a soft background. I stamped and die cut the big thank you from With Thanks, and popped it up with foam adhesive strips, so there was just a touch of dimension on these cards. I cut some varying width strips of Altenew Moonstone glitter cardstock, and adhered those in a diagonal line in the top left corner, using liquid glue, and letting dry before trimming off the overhang. Finished off by rounding off one corner on each card, and adding a few Cottontail Embellishment flat sequins around the sentiment! Here are more photos of these finished cards:
