Par-tay like it's your birthday!

Good morning! One of the great things about packing up and moving, is that when all your crafty stuff gets packed up, it is so fun opening up and finding everything that you hadn't had a chance to use yet and had actually forgotten you had! Or...those few weeks of not being able to create might also translate into a bit too much time looking at crafty stuff online and making some purchases that you couldn't use until you had unpacked at your new house and had the rest of your supplies...either way - lots of stuff that is brand new! Here is a card I made with some of that stuff:

Also linking this up with the current CAS-ology challenge - NBUS (which stands for Never Before Used Schtuff):

Edited to add: By Darnell's suggestion, I am also linking this up with her 3rd NBUS challenge:

I needed to make some masculine birthday cards, so that is what inspired this card! I used some of my brand new Peerless watercolors - the add on set - and created my watercolor background. Added my sentiment from a new Wplus9 designs set I had gotten right before moving - LOVE the font on it! After that, I sprinkled on some Ranger platinum embossing powder randomly over the top (no stamping to hold it on or anything!) - then heat embossed from the bottom so it didn't blow away! Added a twist of jute twine with some star sequins, and a few wraps of silver thread, a rounded corner, and some American Crafts pattern paper to finish it off.

Thanks for dropping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
