Lil' Inker's April Release Day 1

Hello! So happy today to begin sharing some fun projects for the brand new release at Lil' Inker Designs - and as always, it's a good one! I love the mix of fun, hip, and cute! We are also welcoming three new design team members, so make sure and leave them some extra special love! You should have arrived here from Lea Lawson - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win one of the giveaways.

Today I started off by sharing some projects featuring some of the fun tribal theme products - there is a stamp set, couple dies, and pattern paper - all amazing!!!

I'll be honest...the Tribal Chic stamp set intimidated me a little. For some reason I kept setting it aside because I just couldn't figure out to what to do with it. This was the last card I made for this release - and it is my favorite now! Once I pulled it out and used it - I absolutely fell in love! SOOO easy - I have no idea why I expected it to be hard! I think this is going to be one of my favorite stamp sets to play with! Here is that card:

Totally fun, right? I love how well these colors worked together too! And the font of the sentiments - SUPER perfect fit! Cut a couple angled corners off, added some jute twine, and a few enamel dots to finish off.

Next up I used a sentiment from Tribal Chic and paired it with the Tribal Chic pattern paper and Dual Stitched Triangle Dies.

I heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black, added some silver thread, and a few silver sequins to finish off.

Also linking either of these cards to the current Virginia's View Challenge - Friendship Linky-party:

Your next stop along the blog hop is Joy Taylor - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping. See you tomorrow with more projects and fun!

And now the really fun part! There is, of course, a chance to win some shopping money to spend on the new goodies! YAY! Laura is giving away 3 gift certificates for random comments left along the hop - so the more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!

Here is the entire Blog Hop line-up - make sure and check out each stop and leave your comments:
