Pinkfresh Studios is kicking off a BRAND NEW January Challenge: 2018 Year in Review - paired of course with the option of lots of fun color combos! I hope you'll come play along for a chance to win some amazing prizes - you can enter cards OR scrapbook layouts!!!
Here is the challenge info and inspiration photos - yep, this time around there are lots of options! This month is a review challenge of all of 2018 - so you can choose any challenge from the past year! I decided to go with the June Challenge for my card - I loved the colors, and really wanted to use one of the yummy bows from my Pinkfresh Embellishments:
I am so happy with how my card to share turned out! And best of all, it was actually fairly easy to create! The beautiful Hello Word with a Bouquet Die makes it so easy to create this intricate and detailed card front!
I die cut it from white cardstock, then popped out the letters and colored them with in an ombre gray pattern using a few warm gray copic markers. I adhered the entire image on some pattern paper that I found in my stash that matched the color combo perfectly. You could also very easily create your own watercolor background - but this made it super quick and easy for me!
I heat embossed a sentiment from Train Ride stamp set on a bit of gray cardstock, and hand trimmed into a tiny banner, then popped a bow underneath from Be You Tassel Bows.
Before I adhered those two items however, I decided to add a good coat of Glossy Accents over the letters to help them pop out a little extra. It makes the finished card so shiny and fun - this photo shows it best:
Once the Glossy Accents dried, I adhered the tiny banner with foam adhesive, and then added the bow tucked right underneath to finish off!
