Good morning! Thursday was our weekly Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Live! If you missed the Live video and want to take a peek, you can find it on the Pinkfresh Facebook Page - this week's video is available HERE. As always, there was one giveaway for someone who watched live, so make sure and pop in each week to win that live giveaway - 10 AM Pacific time on Thursday morning!
I also always try to post info here the next day (yep...I'm a day late this week!) on the card (or cards) we make - for those that aren't on Facebook or maybe didn't see it over there. This week we created all four of these cards in 45 minutes using the gorgeous new Layered Bouquet stamp set on it's own and with the coordinating dies! Actually, the new cards we made have a bit of changes with the sentiments and such, these are the ones I made earlier this year with the new release to take to Creativation, but they are close enough that I decided not to re-photograph! Feel free to watch the videos if you want to see the slight variations...
For these first two cards, I used two different color combos, and didn't use the coordinating dies, but stamped them on panels die cut with Diagonal Stitched Rectangles. They are SOOO easy to stamp and line up! Love that!
Added some splatters using the deepest ink shade smooshed on a clear black and mixed with a bit of water, then splattered on the cards with a small brush. Then finished off with a few pretty jewels and some coordinating cardbases.
Love playing with different color combos!
These second cards use the coordinating dies with some soft ink blending behind to help them pop:
These were stamped on the die cut pieces by lining everything up in the negative space of the die cut.
I alternated the colors of ink blending behind the florals, using the reverse color of what I had used on the flowers for the base color.
Sentiments and a few jewels finish these cards off!
Also, if you love florals, it's a great opportunity this weekend to pick up a a select few at a great sale price! All 3 of the sets included are favorites of mine! Check them out HERE!

Like what you've done with soft, pastel colors on these cards, Heather. They are so light and refreshing. tfs
ReplyDeleteI missed the sale, but so glad to know the Layered Bouquet stamps are easy to line up. Now I can put them on my wishlist & maybe they'll be on sale again. Your cards are so beautiful! Love the soft ink blending behind the die cuts--gotta remember to do that!
