Layered Square Hello - Simon Says Stamp July 2022 Card Kit

Good morning! I'm popping in to share my first card using the BRAND NEW July 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - You Shine! This month's kit a fun mix of juicy and fresh, and yet with a bit of a vintage flair! The included stamp set by the same name has some fresh fun images and great sentiments, there is a fun little stencil/die cut combo, of course some sweet pattern paper, Foundry wax...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelope, and more! 

I'm sharing this little square card today using several items from the new kit!

I started off by die cutting the fun little Flower Garden Cut and Emboss folder from white cardstock. I was just going to use it in white, but then I decided to play with the Foundry Wax. I kept brushing on layers, then heat setting, then adding more and heat setting again. When I finished, I had this cute little frame that looked like it was made out of metal. Kind of a fun effect!

Once I had that, I added a sentiment from the stamp set, heat embossed in gold on a tiny strip of vellum, and tucked it behind the frame. I love how well it coordinates with the frame!

Finally, I added some layers of pattern paper from the kit, trimmed down, and adhered in lots of wonky layers for texture. I just used a tape runner, but curled the edges up for a bit of dimension. I popped the finished frame up with foam adhesive over the top for a final bit of dimension!
