Hello! I'm stopping by to share my first couple of cards using the BRAND NEW Let's Chill Release from Simon Says Stamp! This release is full of fun for summer - I decided to play with the new Layering Cosmos stencil and create two very clean and simple cards!
I used both stems and blooms in the stencil to create two separate cards. I paired the smaller bloom with the smaller stem, and the larger bloom with the larger stem.
For both cards I used a fresh and fun mix of Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated inks, and used the adorable new little Detail Round blender brushes. Super handy for getting into small spaces and blending colors together!
I trimmed the panels down, and to add some interest, I used my score board to add a bit of a frame around the edges. No layers or textures, but just a bit of an extra fun design!
I added sentiments with the new Charcoal ink and the Soaring Birthday stamp set - as well as the cute little butterflies, then mounted the panels with foam adhesive on white cardbase. I didn't even add any bling on these cards, thinking it would be super nice to have some cards closer to one layer for a change! Although I couldn't completely skip the foam adhesive...haha!
