Good morning! Dropping by today to share a card I made for Pinkfresh Studio's Facebook Live. This card was actually for last week's Facebook Live - I may be behind on lots of them, but I figured I'd start with a more recent one, because, why not, right? And I love how this soft card came out - I don't use purples often enough, and this one was so fun to create! You can watch the replay HERE if you want to see more details.
You can watch the replay here as well if you want to see it come together:
As always, it's fun how when you are creating live, plans change as you go along. And of course, there are always the mistakes you make - stamping the sentiment took 3 tries to get it right - haha!
I used the beautiful Moments of Grace set to create the flowers. I stamped and heat embossed in gold, then used my layering stencils to color them in. I used Candy Violet, Regal Kiss, and Stargazer for the flower layers, Lemon Whip and Marigold for the yellow accents, and Olive and Evergreen for the greenery layers. I love the rich colors, especially with the gold heat embossing!
I foiled the arch using some of the new Glimmer Satin foils - which are now available in the Pinkfresh Studio store HERE if you have been waiting for that! They are my current favorites for sure! I used the more traditional gold one on this card.
I used the negative piece cut from the arch to add my sentiment. I heat embossed it in gold from the Grant Yourself Grace stamp set, and then used the extra inks on my purple and blue blending brushes to add a hint of color to the corner of that panel. It was a great way to tie all the colors together and keep there from being too much white space! Here is a closer look at the ink blending over the heat embossing:
And a closer look at those beautiful roses in those rich colors:
Final touch was some of those fabulous new Glitter Drops from Pinkfresh in Amethyst and Gold - so sparkly and fun to add to your cards! I'm addicted...so be prepared to see lots more of those on future projects!
