Hello! I'm delighted to be stopping by to share my first project using the BRAND NEW And Everything Nice Release from Simon Says Stamp that just dropped - and this time, I'm not starting off with a card, but a cute little home decor item that I'm so excited about!
I had recently ordered the adorable Alterable Light Up Lantern from SSS - and when my release package came and I saw these festive dies, I knew exactly what I wanted to create with them! I die cut the new Magical Mistletoe die once from both Green Apple and Green Leaf cardstock, and the berries several times from Schoolhouse Red and Lipstick Red cardstock, layering them and adhering all together. I also added Nuvo glitter drops to the berries for extra sparkle and shine! I set those aside to dry, and then cut the new Layering Pine Sprigs die a few times from Sage cardstock, layering them together as well. I pulled out another new die - Holiday Window Decor - and cut just the star from Sunshine cardstock, and the bow from Honey Gold cardstock. Then, I adhered everything together into a pretty cluster, and added it to the top of the lantern with good sturdy Scor tape! It held it super well, but I also love that it makes it easy to change out the decor for a different season as well! It really is absolutely ADORABLE! Here are more photos of the finished project:
