Joy to You Poinsettia Frame - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! I'm stopping by with another card today using a couple of recently released items from Simon Says Stamp - and I love how simple and elegant this card turned out!

This card features the Beautiful Poinsettia Frame embossing folder for the main background, embossed on white cardstock, and then with some ink blending around the edges with Shell and Coral inks to make the embossing pop. I then added some splatter with the new Gold Splatter for some extra fun shine! While that dried, I stamped my sentiment in black ink, and heat embossed with clear ink for some extra shine before die cutting. I used the Nostalgic Christmas set, die cutting two extra layers to stack together for dimension, since the lines of that sentiment were so fine - it was easier than trying to add tiny pieces of foam adhesive. Once that was adhered on my card, it felt like it still needed something extra, so I die cut a couple bows from Pretty Bows 2, one in black, and one in white. The black one I smooshed onto a clear embossing ink pad, and then sprinkled with clear embossing powder before heat setting. I repeated that twice, and it gave such a fun shine to that bow! I layered it offset with the white one for a slight shadow effect, then finished this card off with a few Dazzling Gold gems! Here is a closer look at the finished card:
