Good morning! I'm popping in again this week, this time with a card using more of the And Everything Nice Release from Simon Says Stamp! I love the monochromatic color scheme on this card, and who doesn't love a Christmas card that has this much pink on it? Okay...I realize there are probably some people that wouldn't...but you could use any monochromatic color scheme for this design and it would be fun! :)
I started off this card by using the Beautiful Poinsettia Frame embossing folder on Cotton Candy cardstock. I misted with water before running it through my machine, to get a nice deep impression. Once it dried, I turned over to the negative space, and used the new Salmon ink pad direct to paper, and swiped it across the design several times. It inked up the higher areas and details, and left the main areas of debossed florals a lighter shade. Such a pretty effect! I then stamped and layered up the new Holly Jolly layering stamp set with the new ink family of Shell, Salmon, and Coral, then die cut with the coordinating dies, also cutting an additional unstamped layer from Ivory glitter cardstock to add an extra shadow effect behind. I die cut some frames with the new Frames die from more Ivory glitter cardstock, as well as those adorable little hearts, and then assembled all the layers!
