Good morning! Today I've got a super fun little card using a set from a recent Simon Says Stamp release. For this card, I stretched myself to find a way to put a cute little journaling stamp set to use on a card! I love the results!
I was very intentionally messy on my watercolors. I pretty much stamped out a bunch of my favorite little images from Journal Jamboree on watercolor paper, then added blobs of individual watercolors on each one. Once they dried a bit, I added an additional bit of the same color on certain areas to highlight them, and then added some glitter drops on those areas as well for some additional sparkle. Once they all dried, I used the coordinating dies to cut each one out, and arranged them on foam adhesive in a jammed together in a wonky little row along the side of my cardbase. When all was said and done, I had a dab more space along the bottom than I wanted, so I added a tiny strip of black cardstock to ground the bottom image, and give a fun border on the bottom. For the sentiment, I die cut the Just Sayin' die, using black and white carstock, then popped it up with foam on my card. I stamped a whole bunch of the sentiments from the Just Sayin' stamp set, rounded off one corner, and then finished off with a sprinkle of Rainbow Dazzling Gems - the photos don't do those justice, but they were the PERFECT fit for this bright and fun card!
