Wildflower Notecard Set - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I'm super excited to share a fun notecard set using one of my favorite sets from Simon Says Stamp. I love making cards in sets, and this set makes me smile with the fresh colors, dainty florals, and simple layers!

The Butterfly Blossoms set includes a coordinating stencil, and it makes it so fun to color these florals in! While you can blend multiple layers of color on each stencil, it makes it super easy to color them with monochromatic tones! I stamped the florals in a light colored ink, leaving the stamps lined up in my stamp positioner, then blended one color onto each flower image before restamping over the top with crisp black ink for a super clear image! I used Cantaloupe, Carnation, Tropic, and Amethyst inks. I die cut them with the coordinating dies, and stamped and die cut the sentiments from the set as well. To create something to ground the images, I used  one of the Domed Arches stencil set and the same ink colors to blend a little background on each card. I then adhered the florals, alternating the colors on each card, and adhering with a bit of liquid glue to hold it in place. I added the sentiments with foam adhesive strips, and finished off with some coordinating Dazzling gems in Peachy, Bubblegum, Lilac, and Surf! Here are more photos of this finished set of cards:
