Rainbow Tree Grateful - Simon Says Stamp January 2026 Card Kit

 Hello! I'm popping in to share another card using the newest January 2026 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - The Small Things! This month's kit is full of beautiful wintry fun! The included stamp set has some lovely winter woods scene building critters, and some fun sentiments (there is a matching die set available HERE as well). There is a gorgeous snowflake layering stencil with coordinating dies, an adorable tree die, some twinkle paste - and that's all not to mention the pattern paper, embossing folder, sparkly gems, cardstock, and more!

This card features one of the adorable tree images in the stamp set - I saw it and just thought it would be adorable stamped in a little row. And while it would be super cute in green tones, I thought rainbow would be even more fun! I simply stamped in rainbow order, and in a slightly random pattern, which was easier than trying to perfectly space and align them. I trimmed it down to pop up with foam on my card, added a sentiment underneath, and then to give the look of some frosty snow, I used the Mini Silicone Spatula and Spoon to scoop out little bits of the Twinkle Texture paste and pile it at the base of the trees. I put it on pretty thick, and allowed it lots of time to dry for a fun dimensional embellishment. Finished off with a few Dazzling Prism gems for sparkle! Here are more photos of the finished card:

Snowflakes Warm Birthday Wishes - Simon Says Stamp January 2026 Card Kit

There is a gorgeous snowflake layering stencil with coordinating dies, an adorable tree die, some twinkle paste - and that's all not to mention the pattern paper, embossing folder, sparkly gems, cardstock, and more!

I love how fun and wintry this card is - and the photos don't do it justice at all with all the sparkle from the twinkle paste! I actually almost planned to just stencil the snowflake from Crystal Snowflake and keep the card one layer, so I stenciled it 3 times on one A2 panel, going off the edges on some places. I used a blend of aqua and blue tones one each snowflake, then die cut each one, and then added the Twinkle paste in the kit on the lighter layer. Once those dried, I popped them up with foam on a white cardbase, added a sentiment from the stamp set, rounded off one corner, and finished off with a sprinkle of some of the gems from the included Dazzling Gems Cool Tones in the kit! Holiday Wishes Deer - SSS Holiday Card Kit

Hello! Okay...I feel like I'm saying a lot lately how excited I am about different releases, but the fact is - I really AM excited about them all! The other day a surprise package landed in my mailbox - and when I opened it, imagine my excitement and delight to find a Special Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp - and it is a seriously AMAZING kit! (You can check out the entire kit HERE - and I've linked some of the individual elements that I used on my card below as well).

I pulled out elements from this card kit to put this fun winter card together:

I started off by using the fun Tim Holtz layering stencil in the kit, and a couple of the distress inks to blend together for the trees in the background. Once I had the color down, I added some of the Grit Paste (also included in the kit) through the second layer of the stencil to create the snow - also laying a bit down on the ground for the deer to stand on.

While that dried, I die cut the deer in Cream and Dark Chocolate cardstock, and layered them together slightly offset for a dimensional effect. I also tied a bit of the included twine in the kit around the neck, and used some of the Red Stickles to add a Rudolph nose!

I stamped the sentiment with some Dark Chocolate ink, and then used white pigment ink to add some tiny snowflakes from the included stamp set to the background.

Finally, layered up the front panel with some more Dark Chocolate cardstock, and some of the Authentique pattern paper in the kit.
