Good morning! I'm popping in today to share my first card using BRAND NEW April 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Life is a Party! This month's kit is a party in a box! The included stamp set by the same name has some fun party theme sentiments and images, there is an adorable balloon die set, of course some sweet pattern paper, a fun embossing folder, some glittery paste...that's all not to mention the cardstock, Distress Oxide ink pad, and more!
Today I have a simple and fun birthday card using those fun new dies from the kit, paired up with the stamp set!
I die cut the balloons from a trio of Concord and 9th colored cardstock - one of the largest balloons, and then two of the medium size ones, and arranged them to plan my placement in the upper left corner of my card.
I added the strings using my MISTI to place the strings, and then remove the balloons before stamping, then I trimmed off the excess on the side of the cards, and adhered the balloons with foam adhesive.
Finally, I added the sentiment, heat embossed in white on black cardstock, then trimmed into a banner shape.
