Spring Lily Frame Card - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live Card

Good morning! Dropping by today to share a card made last week for Pinkfresh Studio's YouTube Live - I used some newly released items and some fun and different colors to create this layered floral card! You can watch the replay HERE if you want to see more details.

I started off by heat embossing the lovely Lily Frame stamp set in gold, then ink blending with the coordinating Layering Stencils. I combined pinks and yellows on the flower layers - letting them blend together for a bit of a bright coral color, and used aqua for the leaves.

Once I die cut that panel with the Coordinating dies, I die cut the pretty new Tulip Love coverplate die, and trimmed it down a bit to fit perfectly behind the frame.

I popped the frame up with foam adhesive over a teal cardbase, and left the tulip background on the cardbase for some great dimension.

Sentiment was created by stamping the "friend" word from Lily Frame stamp set in Tidal Pond, then die cutting with the coordinating die, then stamping a secondary sentiment. In the live, I heat embossed the sentiment in gold on the pink cardstock. I really didn't love that in the end, so after the live, I switched out that for one heat embossed in white on the pink. MUCH better! For both of them, I die cut it with the Mini Tags with Fillable Words die. Another change I made was switching out the extra banner behind the sentiment one - in the live I added a white one for dimension, for the final version, I added a gold glitter one to pull that glitter into the sentiment.

I added the banners, taped directly down, and tucked under the frame, leaving the ends free to curl up a bit. Mounted the larger word with tiny bits of foam adhesive, and then finished off with lots of tiny Matte Gold pearls on the flowers. You could easily leave those off - but I thought they added a fun touch of dimension and interest!
