Good morning! Today I'm celebrating the new March Release from Pretty Pink Posh by joining Day 3 of the Instagram Release Hop! You can head over to Instagram to join that hop, and enter to win today's giveaways, and you can find the new release HERE. I thought I would share more details here on my blog on my card - since it is always tough to put enough info in an Instagram post!
I have two cards to share today, that focus mainly on the adorable new Hugs stamp and coordinating die set - and a couple different ways to use them! I love versatile sets, and this one totally fits that category!
For my first card, I stamped and heat embossed the image in gold on white cardstock, and then ink blended in a fun rainbow of bright happy colors, letting the heat embossing "resist" the ink. I then die cut the words from some plain white cardstock, and used the negative of that to put over the top of the stamped and ink blended words!
I added a complimentary sentiment under the large word using the same stamp set, and added a few new Creamsicle Pearls to embellish - then mounted that panel with foam on a white cardbase to finish.
For the second card - I used the letters that I saved from the last card, paired up with some stenciling on my cardbase. I used the new Floral Background stencil, and the leftover ink on my blending brushes from my first card to add a hint of pattern and color to two corners of the cardbase. TRULY preventing waste by creating this card - even using up excess ink! :)
I also blended a bit of ink on the top or bottom of the letters, to coordinate with the stenciling on the cardbase, then added a stamped sentiment (again, from the same stamp set), and a few Limeade Pearls to embellish this one.
I love how soft and pretty these turned out - and the slightly bolder colors on the first one with the heat embossing, and the soft dreamy colors due to the last bit of ink used on the second card.
Which one is your favorite? And do you love a two-for-one design?
