You Can Change the World - Pinkfresh Studio Sunflowers for Ukraine

Good morning! I'm here today to share a card with a very special early release today from Pinkfresh Studio! The fabulous new Sunflower Washi, Stamp, Die, and Layering Stencils are part of the March release, but with the situation in Ukraine right now - and the fact that the sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine - we decided to release it early. For the month of March 2022 100% of the net proceeds from sales of any items in this set will be donated to Save the Children Organization, to help protect some of the most vulnerable population in this time of war.

I've created a card using some of the beautiful washi, die cut with the coordinating dies, and paired with some other previous releases:

I always love the Pinkfresh Studio washi tapes, and the fact that you can die cut them with their coordinating dies - and this set is no exception. You quickly get stunning floral bunches to create cards quickly and easily! And this one also has a bit of gold foiling to embellish it, which makes it even better.

I wanted to create a textured background for my card, so I used the new Daisy Chain Coverplate to layer over a white cardbase. The white on white texture is so fun, and still maintains the white space feeling that I love.

Next, I needed a little focal point to add my sentiment, as well as arrange my florals around. One of my favorite Pinkfresh sets if the Ornate Banner die - the small banner was the perfect size for this!

I stamped a sentiment from You Can Change the World in Detail Black ink - so many good sentiments in this set! Then I tucked and arranged florals around it until I was happy with the arrangement, using foam adhesive to attach the banner to the card front, and some of the florals, and adding others with liquid glue for varying dimension.

Finally, a few Sunshine Jewels from Essentials: Jewels Mix to add a bit of sparkle and finish this card off!
