Hello! I'm dropping by to share a card I created with the newest Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember exclusive - today is Pinkfresh...and you know that I'm excited to share this one! :) I also used some of the BRAND NEW Pinkfresh ink colors that are releasing in just over a week - so consider this a bonus sneak peek for those as well! I'll update this post with a link to the colors I used once they are available to order at 7am Central Time on Friday, September 29, 2023.
The month of STAMPtember at Simon Says Stamp is full of special surprises and limited edition exclusives revealed throughout the month. As I already mentioned, today's release is a stamp, die, and stencil set from Pinkfresh Studio. Here is the card I created with this lovely new set:
While this stamp image is in the traditional one piece design for the two leafy images, I decided to cut those images apart. You don't have to be afraid to do that if it works for you! I didn't have the dies to work with for this set, so this made more sense for me. Even if you have the one piece die, you can still cut these apart, and use the die on each piece individually. And the stencils just work in two parts as well. I started by stamping the two images in gray ink on a panel of white cardstock, angling them at the top and bottom in a fun design. I then ink blended with the 2 piece layering stencils to add color, using different colors for different sections of the leaves. I used the first two shades of ink in four of the new colors families. The colors I used were Cherry Blossom, Peony, Sunkissed, Mimosa, Limoncello, Citron, Waterfall, and Turquoise. I then restamped over the top in Detail black ink, and stamped the sentiment. I die cut the panel with Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die, and mounted with foam adhesive over an aqua cardbase. I finished off with a few Clear Iridescent drops to make it sparkle! Here are some more photos of this finished card:
