Good morning! I'm popping in to share a couple cards I created using a fun stamp set from Simon Says Stamp that I've been itching to break out and stamp. I had fun with some completely different color combos - one more traditional, and then a couple in some unexpected colors!
I used the Printmaking Pines set to stamp these fun layered trees. I stamped them on white cardstock using my MISTI - which made it super easy to stamp multiple cards together. I used Citrine, Peony, and Violet for the brightest one, Pearfection, Surf, and Pucker for the slightly more vintage feeling one, and then Sprout, Fairway, and Field for the more traditional tree colors. I die cut them with a Basic Rectangle die, and added some gold splatters with my Starry Colors palette. While that dried, I heat embossed sentiments from the stamp set in Antique Gold on black cardstock, and trimmed those down into strips. I added some strips of white cardstock to my cardbases, adhered at an angle, to add some texture and interest. Then I layered up thee panels and sentiments with foam adhesive, and finished off with a few Pinkfresh Gold glitter drops! Here are closer looks at each of these finished color options:
