I have had so much fun creating with this release - yesterday was the blog hop, and I shared a LOTS of cards for that! Today I'm sharing a fun layered and colorful card I created on YouTube Live a couple weeks ago with Lea Lawson as a sneak peek of the new ink colors. Between the two of us, we covered all of the ink families - not quite every shade, but pretty close! It was so fun! You can watch that video HERE if you want to see more details!

I used the You're the Best set for this card, stenciling the florals in different colors for variety. I used Mimosa, Turquoise, Hydrangea, Citron, Fruit Punch, Atlantis, Opulence, and Spanish Moss - then added Limoncello for the background. Before blending, I heat embossed the florals in Gold Pearl embossing powder. I used Ornate Ovals die cut from ivory glitter cardstock, and created a background using Dainty Plaid set - heat embossed in white, then ink blended with the new yellow/green tones. It needed a bit of softening, so I used a panel of vellum between the layers. A sentiment on a hand trimmed banner, and a few sparkly jewels finish this card off.
