As always, I have several cards to share today - partly because this washi makes it SOOO quick and easy to create a card!
My first two cards use the gorgeous Joyful Bouquet set - washi and dies together, and then stamp set for the sentiments.
This big gorgeous bloom is so perfect - and the gold just takes it over the top.
Background was created with Diagonal Stitched Plaid die, sentiment heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock, and a few jewels finish this easy card off.
For this second one, I used the smaller clusters to accent one of my favorite dies - Ornate Oval Frame.
That sentiment is so gorgeous as well! I heat embossed it in gold to accent the gorgeous gold foiling on the washi.
I tucked some of the florals under, and some above the frame, and mounted the frame with foam adhesive.
The background was die cut with Essentials: Stitched Rectangles, and the entire panel mounted on a soft green cardbase.
Finished off with a row of coordinating Essentials: Crystals for the perfect shine and sparkle!
Next up - one of my favorites of the entire release - and I love the name: English Garden.
I feel like the name totally fits this gorgeous washi! I used all of the pieces from one panel of this washi - the main frame, then accented with the smaller pieces to fill in the wreath even more.
Background is the gorgeous Stitches die for the perfect texture.
Sentiment is added with Happy Birthday Sentiments - heat embossed in gold on white cardstock, die cut with the coordinating dies, and mounted with foam adhesive.
The wreath was also mounted with foam adhesive. Seriously though - that gold?!?!? Gah...I love it!
Okay - moving on to the next one. This one uses the smaller elements from the Painted Peony washi and coordinating die.
I die cut several hexagons using Essentials: Basic Label Frames from white cardstock, and arranged them on my card front, tucking those small florals around them - some under, some over the top.
Sentiments on here are also from Happy Birthday Sentiments, again heat embossed in gold. The first two words were cut with the coordinating dies - and the last one I trimmed partly with a paper trimmer, and partly for fussy cutting out.
I added a few Essentials: Crystals in the sparkly clear version to glam this card up.
Final touch? Rounded off the top right corner of the card!
Okay - last card to share is one of my favorites from this release - and actually one we created live for last week's Facebook Live (that had to move to YouTube live due to technical difficulties)! You can check it out HERE to see how it all came together.
I also used the entire panel of Anemone Magic washi tape for this slimline card.
Sentiment for this one is from Joyful Bouquet - it just fit perfectly in the center of the circle from the Slimline Stitched Scallop Circle die.
I layered all the washi around this card - bumping some up with foam adhesive for dimension - and a panel of blue cardstock behind the main panel.
Finished off with a heavy sprinkle of Essentials: Jewels to top off the sparkle effect!
