Good morning! I'm popping in today to share a couple cards using some fun dies from Simon Says Stamp - I often find myself needing masculine birthday cards, so I always love a good design that I can recreate to have a few on hand when I need them! These were super fun and easy to make!
For both of these cards, I die cut the pretty Birch Tree Window die twice from panels of different colored cardstock. I layered them together, slightly offsetting the underneath panel in a different color for a shadow effect, taped together with temporary adhesive, and then die cut both pieces together using a smaller Basic Rectangle Die.
I backed each one with black cardstock for a bit of drama and then attached with foam adhesive to my white cardbases. Love the shadow effect this created!
I also die cut the CZ Design Happy Birthday word die from black cardstock, and the shadow laer from white cardstock, and layered that over the front with more foam adhesive.
Finished both cards off with a small secondary sentiment from Tiny Words Birthday stamp set, stamped in black, trimmed to a thin strip, and mounted under the larger sentiment. I can't wait to try more color combos with these cards!
