Holiday Greetings - Pretty Pink Posh September Release Instagram Hop

Good morning! Today I'm celebrating the new October Release from Pretty Pink Posh by joining Day 1 of the Instagram Release Hop! You can head over to Instagram to join that hop, and enter to win today's giveaways, and you can find the new release HERE. I thought I would share more details here on my blog on my card - since it is always tough to put enough info in an Instagram post!

First up - here are some details on this bright and happy shaker card using some of the fun embellishments in the Holiday Clay Confetti Wheel #5!

I also used the gorgeous new Poinsettia stencils, that are a perfect coordinating touch for the previously released Poinsettia stamp and die set! So fun and perfect to use together!

I stamped and stenciled each of the flowers and leaves, and die cut with the coordinating dies, so I could easily layer them all together in the corner of my shaker.

The shaker window was created with Stitched Diamonds die - love the elegant stitching effect it adds!

Finally, sentiment was added with the pretty Holiday Scripts stamp set and coordinating die for the larger word!

Love these happy colors too! Non-traditional color combos are some of my favorite - and add pink to Christmas cards, and it's pretty much going to be perfect!

The second card features a new and unreleased layering stencil, that is actually free with purchase of $125 or more through the end of the month. And it's a GOOD one! It will be released later, but if you want to get your hands on it sooner, this is your chance!

I mean, look at how pretty it is all stenciled together in those pretty color layers, right?!?

I layered up some smaller elements over that background - just because I didn't want to cover up too much of it!

First, the die cut new Elegant Poinsettia die in white under the new Winter Circles coordinating die. I attached it just under the circles, leaving the edges floating free for a touch of texture.

Next, I colored up an image from the new Christmas Candles stamp set, die cut it with the Coordinating dies, and heat embossed a sentiment from the set in white on a thin strip of black cardstock.

Layered all of those elements together, using as much foam adhesive as I could, and thin layers of scrap cardstock under others for a slightly lesser amount of dimension.

Finished off this card by adding some of the new Metallic Silver Pearls in different sizes to key spots on the background design. That just moves the elegance factor up a notch, don't you think?!?

So - a fun shaker card:

And a beautiful stenciled background:

And lots of new goodies put to good use! What are you looking forward to trying from the new release?
