Good morning! I'm popping in today to share my first card using BRAND NEW March 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Hoppy Days Ahead! This month's kit is filled with adorable bunnies and spring florals! The included stamp set by the same name has some super cute bunnies and scene building elements, there is an adorable cloud mini stencil, of course some sweet pattern paper, a mini blender brush and new ink pad...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!
Today I'm starting off by sharing a sweet little slimline card with you!
For this card I combined some of the darling pattern paper, with some simple stamped images and sentiments. No coloring required, and no fussy cutting or die cutting! I trimmed one of those pattern paper pieces into it's panels as designed, then chose 4 to use on my slimline card.
I added two of the bunny images to the larger floral frames, and then stamped sentiments in two of the smaller frames.
I tucked some more of that pattern paper behind. I first trimmed the piece in half diagonally, then arranged it in alternating corners, and trimmed off the excess. It gave a fun angle, and helped make the panels pop off the background.
I added those panels with foam adhesive, tying a twine bow around one of them for a bit of texture and interest.
Finally, I added a touch of pink to the bunny cheeks and ears, and a few sparkly jewels to finish them off!
