Hello! Dropping by today to share a couple of cards I recently created using supplies from Pinkfresh Studio - I posted them today to my Instagram account, along with a giveaway of the amazing Pinkfresh Studio Solid Hot Foil Plate! You can check out the details HERE if you want to hop over to comment and enter! Along with my friend Lea Lawson, we also recently did two YouTube Lives all about hot foiling. The first one was Hot Foiling 101, the second one was all about the Solid Hot Foil Plate. They are both available to rewatch if you want tons of tips, tricks, troubleshooting tips, and advice!
For these cards, I hot foiled the Heart Grid hot foil plate with rainbow foil - which is magical by the way! I then saved the negative or waste foil, and was able to use the Solid Hot Foil plate to foil all that leftover for a more solid image, leaving the hearts white. I then die cut those panels using the largest Blanket Stitched Rectangle die, and then trimmed them down in half diagonally, to put half of each on each card.
Once I adhered those onto my cardbases, I also added a frame on the front using Mini Slimline Stitched Scalloped Rectangles. You may notice these aren't slimline cards of course - but they worked perfectly to just trim off a bit off the top, and add as a partial frame! I popped those up with foam for a bit of dimension on my card as well.
Finally, I added some sentiments using the reverse foiled sentiments from Brushed Sentiments. I didn't even add any bling - gasp! I know! But...all this foil just seemed like enough shine, so I held myself back! :)
