Reverse Confetti November Release Day 1 - Sun's Up Mugs Up

Good morning! Welcome to Day 1 of sneak peeks for the fabulous new November Release at Reverse Confetti! Woohoo! Sneak peeks begin today, and run for the next two days, then the release is live on the 8th and there will be a blog hop to celebrate!

If you love coffee - then today's sneak peeks are for you! My card today uses lots of the new goodies - and I absolutely adore this sweet Drink More Coffee stamp set!

I paired it up with the awesome new Grid Stitched Tag, and lots of pattern paper from the new 6x6 Paper Pad - Winter Solstice. That coordinating "coffee" word is from the coordinating Drink More Coffee Coordinating Confetti Cuts - love it! I die cut it from white cardstock, then blended Lime Green and Avocado Inks on it.

A bit of Copic coloring, some jute string, and a bit of white paint splatters on my background finish this card off!

Pinkfresh November Challenge - Soul Shine

I used the beautiful Dainty Blossoms Dies for the first time, and die cut some Tonic Gold Cardstock - those two pair together so perfectly! The flowers cut out like BUTTER! So smooth and pretty! I paired them up with the Noteworthy Frames Die Set - perfect for stamping my sentiment from My Favorite Things to Say, and tucking those lovely florals into!

The pattern paper I used is from Indigo Hills 2 6x6 Paper Pad - and a few enamel dots from the same collection help finish this off and cover the colors in the color combo. The sentiment I chose before I paid attention to theme, but fortunately the challenge allows you to choose theme, color, OR both options!

Hey Good Lookin'

Good morning! I recently played with my alcohol inks, and paired the background I created up with some Simon Says Stamp supplies - and ended up with a fun full panel shaker card filled with sparkly jewels and a sassy sentiment! Does anyone else find alcohol ink backgrounds hard to photograph? I don't know why, but those vibrant backgrounds NEVER seem to show up in a photo as pretty as they look in real life! I did my very best on this one though: 

I played with several shades of blue alcohol ink, adding blending solution, and blowing through a straw to move the inks around. Once I liked the look, I set it aside to dry thoroughly, and die cut the Marilyn Full Card Wafer Die from white cardstock, and began adding acetate and foam to build a shaker element.

Once my alcohol panel dried, I built my shaker, filling it with Sparkling Clear Jewels from Pretty Pink Posh. I heat embossed a sentiment from Simon Says Stamps Everything Together stamp set on some black cardstock, then cut around the sentiment with detail scissors, and mounted it over the top of my sparkly shaker panel!

Cutie Pie - Lil' Inker Designs

Good morning! I'm dropping by with another card using the BRAND NEW October release at Lil' Inker Designs! I adored the sweet Hap-Pie Thanksgiving stamp set and wanted to create another card with it. You can find the entire new release HERE!

I started off this card by creating a stenciled background using another new release Cover Up: Diagonal Plaid. I die cut it from plain cardstock, and then used it as a stencil with some Distress Oxide inks. I basically turned the stencil 90 degrees each time, arranged it in a place I was happy with, and blended a different color of Distress Oxide ink over it in a circular area.

Next, I stamped my image and sentiment directly over the top, and then for some texture, added the stitched circle from Silly Stitched Die Set over the top. I also added some sparkly Nuvo drops on the whip cream. Once that dried, I simply layered on some different panels of gray cardstock die cut with Stitched Squares Dies! Easy as pie! Haha - sorry, couldn't resist! :)

Thankful Fox - Spellbinders and Fun Stampers Journey

Good morning! I'm excited to be part of a fun blog celebration today - Fun Stampers Journey and Spellbinders are coming together today - November 1st, 2018! Here are some fun facts about Fun Stampers Journey Products:

I received a stamp and die set, as well as a fun embossing folder from the collection to play with and share with you today! I have two cards to share - first up, a fun autumn background, with a bold image and sentiment:

For this card, I started by using the fun Changing Seasons Embossing Folder on white cardstock, and blending some Distress Oxide Inks over the top. This makes the detail of the embossing pop in a nice soft and pretty way! I also added a good splatter of gold with my Starry Colors Palette.

Next up, I simply stamped the fox image from Thankful Friends in black ink, and cut out with the coordinating Thankful Friends Dies. I heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock, and tore the top and bottom edges for some texture. I mounted those both with foam adhesive, tucking a bundle of gold thread under the sentiment to bring out the gold from the splatters.

Next up, I went with very soft neutral tones using the same image, sentiment, and embossing folder - just a different color palette and slightly different arrangement of the elements.

For this card, I used the same embossing folder on white cardstock, but skipped the ink blending, and tore out a section in the center to open up to the gray cardbase with my white heat embossed sentiment.

I stamped the same fox in a soft gray ink, and tied some rustic twine around the card before mounting the fox - again with foam adhesive.

Magical Christmas Unicorn - Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Cards Blog Hop

Today I'm sharing a magical pink unicorn card! Isn't that exactly what you think of when you start on your Christmas cards? Haha! So fun to make though!

I started by die cutting and stamping the unicorn from Magical Christmas, using the coordinating Magical Christmas Dies. I added some extra images stamped on the body of the unicorn, and just a touch of pink Copics to color part of it in.

I stamped my large sentiment, then chose some of the tiny images from the stamp set and stamped them in pin on my background around the area I planned to mount the unicorn, and then added some black splatters with my Licorice Liquid Watercolor - masking off the sentiment for that part so it wasn't messed up. I finished off by mounting the unicorn with foam adhesive, adding lots of sparkle with some glittery clear Nuvo drops, and then head embossed an additional little sentiment on a thin strip of black cardstock and mounted it over the top!

Technique Tuesday Release Day - Friends so Deer

Good morning! It's the 1st of the month - so RELEASE DAY for the November Release from Technique Tuesday - all products are available NOW!!! Lots of fun new stamps and dies in this release - make sure and check out the Technique Tuesday Blog to find links to all the Design Team's projects for today!

Today I'm featuring the adorable new Animal House set called Dani Deer - I also went with a pretty untraditional color combo for a Christmas card!

I started off by masking the bottom of the card off and doing some ink blending on my background using Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemonade. I added some white paint splatters to the background to create a snowy effect as well, then die cut Taller Than the Trees from white cardstock, and mounted it over the top.

I stamped and colored the sweet deer, die cut it with the coordinating dies, mounted it with foam adhesive, and added my sentiment on the bottom as well.
