Unity Stamps - Woodland Animals

Good morning! Stopping by to share a little more details post with a few of the cards I posted for the Thursday Hop with Unity - I absolutely ADORE this sweet new set called Woodland Cuteness! Definitely up there in my favorites list now! SOOOO crazy cute! Here are 3 cards I made using it:

First up - this little sweet deer! Colored with Copics, die cut with Lil' Inker's Wonky Squares Dies, and a doily tucked behind. Sweet and simple!

Next up - I'm pretty sure you won't find a cuter little bear anywhere!!!

Again colored with Copics, cut out with Lil' Inker's Dual Stitched Square Dies, and a bit of torn vellum behind with some Crate Paper pattern paper.

And finally - the darling little squirrel:

As with the others, colored with Copic markers, die cut with Lil' Inker's Stitched Circle Dies, then a couple layers of pattern paper. I also added a bit of jute twine and a tiny paper clip to each card for a finishing touch.

Here is the entire set - Woodland Cuteness - on sale this weekend for $9! In fact there is LOTS of stuff on sale and so many amazing deals right now!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!!!

So Cool with Avocado Arts

Good morning! I'm up on the Avocado Arts blog this morning to share some projects with the new stamp set for June - So Cool:

I love all the summery images on this one - and had to start with that sweet popsicle:

Stamped and colored it with Copics on a circle die cut with Lil' Inker's Stitched Circle Dies, stamped my sentiment in coordinating ink, then covered the popsicle with glossy accents. Layered some washi tape, sequins, a tiny paper clip, jute twine, and a doily on some pattern paper. Finished off with a few flicks of white Mister Huey's Mist in the corners.

Next up - I have never seen an image like this one - and what a fun matching sentiment!

Again, stamped my image and sentiment on a die cut shape - used Lil' Inker's Stitched Ovals this time. I used a self adhesive pearl in the center, after coloring with Copics. Layered some pattern paper, some vellum that I did some stenciling and embossing paste on, then tied on some ribbon and added a few sequins.

Finally - that watermelon was just screaming out for some watercolors!

Look at those little tiny ants! Makes me squeal they are so cute! I used my new Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolor pens to color my image in, stamped the sentiment, and added a simple black outline with a pen to finish it off. Simple and one layer - and SOOOO fun!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!

Unity Hop - Smile It's Your Day!

Good morning! It's Thursday Hop at Unity Stamp Company again today - and the start of a new Be Inspired Challenge - which means a brand new sentiment kit! I used the new kit, as well as the sketch and color challenge for my card today:

Here is the new challenge - aren't those colors fabulous for summer?!?!?!?

Here is the new sentiment kit - I just LOVE the fun font and happy sentiments included - and the flowers are gorgeous as well!

In addition to the new sentiment kit, I also used a new release from last week - Bringing Booty Back. I my Zig Clean Color brush pens to watercolor in the image, then die cut the edges with Lil' Inker's Dual Stitched Square Dies. Added some pattern paper, doily, washi tape, and a few enamel dots, and my sentiment on vellum.

There are also a TON of new fabulous releases - I am in love with so many of them! Here is a peek at a couple cards made using the new releases - I'll blog them in more detail soon:

Don't forget to leave a comment here, and on the rest of the DT blogs for a chance to win this weeks giveaway - it's a good one! :)

Everything is Awesome

Good morning everyone! I'm posting this morning on the Butterfly Reflections Blog with a fun movie inspired card! Yep...we finally watched the Lego Movie, and can you guess what song is now stuck in our heads? Uh-huh! I used some fun Altenew stamp sets to make a card using the title of the song:

I used Altenew's Sketchy Cities (not currently in stock at Butterfly Reflections - although Sketchy Landmarks is a similar style of artwork) - then built a sentiment using Super Script Stamp set, stamped with Versamark Ink, then heat embossed on watercolor paper with Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder. I discovered that the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers work wonderfully for the smooshing technique! I scribbled in lines on a piece of acetate, misted with water, then smooshed over my embossed images. I actually used 4 different colors - a blue, orange, yellow, and then a bit of soft gray at the top. I used some pattern paper from Lawn Fawn's Beachside 6x6 Paper Pad, and added a few Studio Calico Wood Veneer Stars to finish off.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!

I BEE-LIEVE in you

Good Sunday morning! There is a new Stamp of the Week at Unity Stamp Company - and it is just as cute as can "bee" (haha - couldn't resist! Sorry!) I enjoyed playing with it yesterday to post today:

In case you haven't heart about the Stamp of the Week from Unity - for $5.79 a week (which includes shipping!) - you get a new and exclusive stamp set delivered to you. A little bit of happy in the mail every week! :)

I used Lil' Inker's Stitched Oval Dies to cut my center panel - then used my Zig Clean Color Brush pens (again!) to color in my image. LOVE how easy they are to use! Added some MME pattern paper, some strips of washi tape, some charcoal sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, and a few flicks of black Heidi Swapp Color Shine - and even though it is hard to see in the photo, a tiny bit of white enamel dots on the flower, leaves, and bee.

I'm also linking this up as a second entry to the Watercolor Blog Hop over at Pretty Pink Posh:

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your Sunday!!!

you are a SUPER MOM

Good evening! Just popping by with a card I happened to have a bit of time to play and make this afternoon with some of the new Unity releases from this past week - another Angie Girl design:

I also wanted to play along with the Watercolor Blog Hop over at Pretty Pink Posh:

And, even though I know we will be traveling a week out of this month and I won't hit the entire 30 days - I am playing along with the second 30 Day Coloring Challenge as much as possible:

I also pulled some color inspiration from the current Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge:

I used my Zig Clean Color Brush Tip pens and a waterbrush to color in my image. Added a sprinkling of pretty gold star sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, and some flicks of gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine, then finished off with a thin black outline around the edges.

Here is this fabulous new release - Laney Girl - on sale for $9 this weekend!
