Reverse Confetti 7th Birthday Release Blog Hop

Good morning! I'm excited to be joining in with a special blog hop to celebrate the slightly delayed (but totally worth the wait!) 7th birthday with Reverse Confetti! I have two cards to share with you using new releases!

For my first card - I used the beautiful new Bowl of Blooms stamp set!

I colored it in with watercolors, then die cut with the Coordinating Dies. I also added some white splatters.

Finally, I masked off a line on my white cardbase. blended a bit of Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Ink over it, then removed the mask and added the floral arrangement with foam adhesive, stamping the sentiment underneath.

Next up, I'm sharing a card using the freebie with this release, Friendly Rainbow!

I thought it would be fun to split the images in two different corners of a white cardbase. I stamped all of them off the edge of the card to add movement.

I stamped the striped clouds with Iced Aqua Ink, and stamped the solid letters with Pistachio ink.

Added some Copic marker to color in the rest of the rainbow, as well as add some shading to the solid stamped letters - then coated the letters with a good coat of Glossy Accent.

I stamped my sentiment tucked in the clouds, and also added Glossy Accents to the white clouds to finish off!

Pinkfresh June 2020 Challenge - DIECUTS and CUTFILES

Pinkfresh Studios is kicking off a BRAND NEW June Challenge: Diecuts and Cutfiles - paired of course with the option of a fresh and fun color combo! I hope you'll come play along for a chance to win some amazing prizes - you can enter cards OR scrapbook layouts!!!

I decided that if the theme this month was die cuts, I would make a card entirely with die cuts and no stamping whatsoever! It was also a great opportunity to break out some of the pattern paper and embellishments from the new Let's Stay Home collection!

I die cut the Slim Stitched Scallop Circle, then trimmed off one of the circles so it would fit an A2 card - don't you love versatile ways to use your supplies? I added a design on the side of that strip using Simple Edgers Die set, then layered it together with some of the pattern paper and a bit of foam adhesive for dimension.

I die cut a sentiment using Phrase Builder: You and black cardstock and vellum, layered them together with a touch of liquid glue, then adhered them onto my card front. Finally, I added a few enamel dots for a finishing embellishment!

Layered Distress Oxide Stenciling - on the Unity Stamp Company Blog

Gold Butterflies - Simon Says Stamp June 2020 Card Kit

Hello! I'm stopping by to share just a couple more cards with the June Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Beautiful Butterflies! So excited that after having to skip last month's card kit due to the Covid 19 shutdowns, they are back with this month's lovely kit! This kit is full of fun butterfly goodness - kind of fitting with everyone (hopefully) able to start coming out of isolation soon...I wonder how many good changes there will be? The included stamp set by the same name is just lovely and filled with fabulous sentiments, the fun Butterfly Trails stencil is super fun, the pattern paper is gorgeous, there is some beautiful Glitz Glitter Gel - not to mention the Cardstock, stickers, and more!

Today's cards are mixing some of the lovely pattern paper with the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set.

For both of these cards, I heat embossed a different butterfly in gold on vellum, then fussy cut them out.

I trimmed one piece of pattern paper down to an A2 card size, then tore off just the bottom edge of each of those.

I die cut a more simple pattern for each card using Stitched Ovals dies, and adhered that centered in the panel.

I added some white splatters with white paint thinned down with a bit of water over that entire panel.

Finally, I used a bit of liquid glue to adhere down just the centers of the butterflies, leaving the sides floating free for dimension, and then mounted my trimmed down sentiment (that was simply stamped in black on white paper) with foam adhesive.

Thinking of You Abstract House

Hello! Dropping by this morning with a quick card. I am super excited to be part of the Online Card Classes Spring Card Camp as a Guest - but I also thought it would be fun to play along with some of the lessons when I have time as well! This is for Day 9 of the class. You can find all the supplies I used linked at the bottom of this post! Oh - and you can go HERE to check out the card camp, it's not too late to sign up - you can always go back and go through the class even at a later time!

This looks to be the last lesson I managed to get completed before class ended...and for some reason the day I chose to do this I really struggled! The theme was Cloud Gazing - basically looking for something different you could create with your stamp sets. I have done that before actually, and loved it! But this night I just had a hard time finding something. I did finally settle on this, and was happy with the end result...just took way more time than I expected for a simple card! Sometimes clean and simple doesn't mean quick and easy! :)

Dip Dye Watercolor Butterfly Thinking of You Cards

This day's lessons was perhaps one of my favorites! Faux Dip Dye watercolor - something I have always tried to recreate and never been this successful! I did the backgrounds two different ways, then added some tiny frames, layered die cut butterflies, and a sentiment from the most recent Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. Layered Sentiments and Take Pride - Facebook and YouTube Live Cards

Good morning! Today I'm going to do my recap last week's Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Live and YouTube Live!
