Tiny Card on a Card - Simon Says Stamp September 2020 Card Kit

Hello! I'm stopping by with my first card created with the September Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Just Miss You! This kit is SOOO fun for sending some love to all the people in our lives that we miss hanging out with in person! The included stamp set by the same name has so many fun sentiments to combine, and a couple of cute images to play with. There are the CUTEST little mini card/envelope combos, some fabulous pattern paper,  beautiful sequins - not to mention the Cardstock, envelopes, and more!

I'm SOOO super excited about how my card for tonight came out - keep reading...it has a cute little interactive card on the card front! Makes me squeal with the cuteness!!!

I built my card around that tiny envelope - setting it where I wanted to place it, and adding all my sentiments from the Just Miss You Stamp Set around it.

I added a strip of pattern paper along the bottom, and a few of the sequins from the mix in the kit, and popped that envelope on the card front, open side facing up - with a tiny heart stamped on the front of it as well! Can you see how it is starting to open to reveal what's inside?

Yep - I even stamped on the tiny card inside that envelop! Isn't that the cutest?!?!?

But wait...there's more! That little card inside the envelope opens up....and I stamped another sentiment in there as well! Do you think whoever gets this card will have any doubts that they are missed?

I fell in LOVE with the darling stamp set by the same name - Let's Connect! I created a couple cards - I shared one the other night, but today I'm sharing my favorite of the two cards! One of those cards where everything just came together perfectly the way you wanted it to - know what I mean?!?!?

I thought this stamp set was so fun and perfect for a clean and graphic card - and had fun adding layers of cardstock, fun angles, and a few whimsical circle elements to break things up!  I started off with that darling image, and left all but the heart and the square with the unicorn in it black and white. It just went perfectly with that sentiment, don't you think? And the unicorn - I mean, c'mon! And to give it that little something extra, I covered the unicorn with a hearty dose of Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen -  a good solid 2 coats. I wish you could see the sparkle better in these photos!

I added some yummy Concord and 9th cardstock to my cardbase, trimming the top at a fun angle and leaving room to stamp my large sentiment in the top left corner. I also added a strip of torn vellum to the bottom, hiding the adhesive behind the bottom of the computer monitor, which was mounted with foam tape.

I heat embossed a small supporting sentiment in white on a bit of black cardstock, then die cut it with a tiny circle from Nested Circles dies, and mounted it with foam adhesive, tucked behind the computer monitor and slightly covering the end of the large sentiment. Does the perfect job of keeping the flow of the card going! Finished off with a few Pinkfresh Studio enamel dots, and one more rounded corner using my Corner Chomper.

Pinkfresh and My Sweet Petunia Blog Hop - Stamped Plaids

Good morning! Today is an amazing blog hop to celebrate both Pinkfresh Studio and My Sweet Petunia - the inventor of the amazing MISTI tool! You aren't going to want to miss a stop along the way - TONS of inspiration and a couple of fabulous prizes up for grabs! YAY!

I'm sharing a look at two cards today - the first one was one I recreated in a different color combo for yesterday's Facebook Live video - you can check it out HERE if you want more info on how I created these cards using one of Pinkfresh Studio's Pop Out Stamps and my MISTI tool!

The first card I'm sharing uses the versatile Pop Out Straight Stripes to create a full plaid background for my card with a mix of Peach Fuzz, Coral Reef, and Rocky Slope dye inks (all of which are on SALE this weekend!). These stamps make it so easy! Check out the video on Facebook to see more of how it was done!

I die cut that panel with Essentials: Stitched Rectangles to mount with foam on a white cardbase. 

I also die cut cut the smaller die from Essentials: Braided Ovals from vellum to layer over the top and add my sentiment. The sentiment is from the new exclusive Scrapbook.com Everyday Script Word Dies.

Finished off with a few jewels from Essentials: Jewels mix to add a touch of sparkle!

The second card to share uses the exact same technique, but instead of continuing on to fill my entire card front, I only did 3 strips of the same colors in each direction.

I trimmed this panel down with the same Essentials: Stitched Rectangles to mount with foam on a white cardbase as with the first card.

I added some floral outlines with Blooming Bouquet stamp set and Detail Black ink in the corners, and used the same stamp set to add a sentiment in the center.

And...just like before, finished off with a few jewels from Essentials: Jewels mix to add a touch of sparkle!

So there you go - two cards, same technique with the MISTI, and two very different and fun looks!

Awesome and Amazing - Simon Says Stamp Let's Connect Release

Hello! I'm back today with another card using the brand NEW Simon Says Stamp Let's Connect release! This card is all soft and pretty - a complete contrast to the bright and graphic card I posted last night. And uses one of my favorite color combos!

I started off with the GORGEOUS new Detail Petal Plate background die - such a fun detailed background! I used it on a panel of white cardstock - simple perfection!

I wrapped some jute string around that panel a few times, and tied in a knot in the front. Over this, I added a sentiment from the new Congrats Word Mix stamp set, stamped in Spring Rain dye ink to coordinate with my cardbase that is some of the new Concord and 9th cardstock that I picked up recently and LOVE! Finished off with a few clear Pretty Pink Posh Droplets scattered over the front.

Fab on Video - Simon Says Stamp Let's Connect Release

Hello! Super excited tonight to stop by with my first card using the brand NEW Simon Says Stamp Let's Connect release! I fell in LOVE with the darling stamp set by the same name - Let's Connect! I created a couple cards - but I will start by sharing just one to begin with tonight!

I started off by coloring up that fab large image using Copic markers in warm grays, and several fun pops of color. Then, I trimmed thin strips of white cardstock, and for perfect coordination, colored the strips with the same Copic colors.

I adhered those on a horizontal card base, then popped the main image up with foam adhesive for a bit of dimension. Finished off by stamping the sentiment and the hearts from the set directly on the cardbase.
