My Door is always open...

My new KOTM arrived today...and I could not WAIT to play!!! So I made a little something today just for fun. Sometimes I feel like just making something that is not for a challenge, contest, publication call, or for anyone in particular. This was one of those days! Here is what I made:
Isn't that door amazing?!?!?!? I stamped it on pattern paper, then colored it up a bit with some Copic markers.
All the papers are by My Mind's Eye, and I used some Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage Photo on the edges.
Tucked a doily behind the door image, and tied a ribbon with some crinkle ribbon.
Tucked a couple of Maya Road stick pins in the ribbon as well, just 'cause it looked like it needed something, and pop dotted the door from the background for some dimension.
The sentiment is stamped with a Papertrey Ink stamp pad in green.
And the final touch was a couple of stick on pearls that coordinated with the purple on one of the pots.
Hope you are having a marvelous Monday!

  5. This card is just stunning! Your coloring is fantastic and all of the little details are just perfection! I would love to know where you got that ribbon, it's my favorite shade of green and I can never seem to find it in ribbon. Thanks for the wonderful Tuesday morning inspiration, maybe the little ones will be getting an early nap today so I can craft, LOL!

  6. Very beautiful card! Love that you off-centered the image and that color of crinkle ribbon is so refreshing.
