Tone on Tone Floral Hello - Simon Says Stamp

 Good morning! Stopping in to share fun trio of cards with some tone on tone stamping and die cut sentiments using some supplies from Simon Says Stamp - I love those intricate florals stamped tone on tone on colored cardstock, and how they let those simple sentiments just shine! 

For these cards, I started off with some Concord and 9th colored cardstock - the 3 colors I used are Sunflower, Avocado, and Fig. I then stamped the large floral image from Thankful Flowers stamp set with closely coordinating, but slight deeper toned Pawsitively Saturated inks - Citrine, Galaxy, and Pine. A similar look would have been fun with embossing ink and clear embossing powder - but I love the simple stamping on these! I used the same image in both corners, just different parts of the same image. I then trimmed the panels down slightly, rounded two opposite corners, and mounted directly on white cardbases. Sentiments were created with the recently released Simple Hello die, using white cardstock for the main layer, and vellum for the shadow layer. I finished off with some clear drops for sparkle! Interactive Typewriter Card - Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

  Hello! I'm popping in to share another card using the new February 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Love Story! This month's kit is full of vintage fun! The included Slider Typewriter and Camera stamp set has such a vintage feel, and a coordinating die with an interactive element (LOVE this one so much!) there is a fun embossing folder, lovely pattern paper and gorgeous ephemera...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, embellishments, and more! 

Today's card is a super simple and fun INTERACTIVE card! In the first photo above, you can see what it looks like, until you follow the directions and pull the little slider up to reveal the hidden message!  I added a slightly wider strip of cardstock attached to the bottom, so it wouldn't slide all the way out of the opening cut in the typewriter. So fun! Backed with some wonky layers of the pattern paper in the kit to add some color and texture - and a few of the little ephemera bits on there as well! Floral Birthday Slimline Card - Pinkfresh Studio Craft Along Card

 Good morning! Last year we started something new at Pinkfresh called Craft Along - we just finished the January Craft Along last night, and are starting to open registration for the next one sooner! What is Craft Along? Well, it's basically a mini event, that is far more affordable and flexible for those who want community, crafting, and connection, but perhaps want the flexibility to use what they already have, or purchase a smaller bundle at a discount. We include alternatives to our chosen sets to give you all the options, and some previous month's attendees even came up with other fabulous options! The event is through a private Zoom link - so you are able to chat, ask questions, and we can even see your lovely faces if you wish! You are (of course!) welcome to leave your camera off, and your sound muted as well if you are more comfortable with that. It has been so fun to be able to see some of your lovely faces as you crafted as well.

Romantic Layered Ephemera Cards - Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

 Hello! I'm popping in to share my first cards using the new February 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Love Story! This month's kit is full of vintage fun! The included Slider Typewriter and Camera stamp set has such a vintage feel, and a coordinating die with an interactive element (LOVE this one so much!) there is a fun embossing folder, lovely pattern paper and gorgeous ephemera...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, embellishments, and more! 

I feel in love with the beautiful ephemera, and couldn't stop at just one card - so I created a set of 3! I used foam adhesive to pop them up for dimension and layers, and added sentiments from the Slider Typewriter and Camera stamp set in the kit - isn't that font so simple and fun? I rounded off one corner on each card for interest, and finished off with one of the Sparkly Hearts gem stickers in the kit. Here are closer looks at all these cards:

For my card today, I used several items from the new release! I started off with the new Heart Banners layering stencils. While they are designed to layer together into a banner shape, I just randomly used layers and mixed them around to get a random background - I didn't want the specific straight lines, and since I was using all of one color family of inks to blend, I wanted them to actually overlap. Love versatility! I added the beautiful frame with Ornate Borders and Frames stamp set, stamped in black, then the new Sweetheart word die, cut from gold cardstock for the detail layer, and white for the shadow layer. I layered it all on a background piece of coordinating colored cardstock that I added some texture to using the new Tessellating Snowflakes 3D embossing folder, a secondary sentiment from the previously released Elegantly Modern Greetings. Finished off with a few Pinkfresh Champagne Clear Drops!

Life is Beautiful - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live

 Good morning! I'm stopping by today to share a card I created recently for a Pinkfresh Studio's YouTube Live. I pulled out some older products, paired with a newer sentiment and our newest ink colors. It was so fun to refresh this older set! I loved using the new ink colors to recreate the same color design that was on the back of the original packaging - so fun! Adding some layers of white heat embossed vellum added some fabulous texture, and I loved all the colored cardstock as well, with a fun die cut frame. The sentiment was stamped in coordinating colored ink as well for extra texture. Here are more photos of the finished card:
